Previously known as Sugar Hairdressing, Teri Tinirau re-launched the salon as Base Hair Sutdio in 2023. With a vision to creating a space of bringing together a collective of talented people, sharing their skills and knowledge. This, combined with using only the very best products in your hair means every day can be a great hair day. With an extensive history of client satisfaction since 2011 and a host of talented local stylists, we will work with you to achieve your desired look.

Kayla is the full package – she’s a Colour Specialist, but also loves cutting and styling, and won’t shy away from a challenge! Kayla is super experienced, she has been in the hairdressing industry for 13 + years. Kayla is passionate about our Clients leaving the salon feeling like their best, most confident self!
